My V+ EPG is telling me that Sky Movies Classic HD launch date has moved.

It will now launch next Tuesday at 6am on Virgin Channel 441 (Not October 5th as post by my last night).

If you look that my list all the UKTV Channels have got Wednesday launch days - October 5th and 12th.

So I now think Virgin will start playing about with the UKTV Channels from tomorrow.

could that mean watch +1 and dave ja vu move to 126 and 131 ?. Will the dave HD slate still go on channel 129 ?

As far as I'm aware both Watch+1 and Dave Ja Vu are staying on Virgin TV

Where will they go on the epg . Watch +1 can't go on 126 and if it did That would mean Dave HD would launch on channel 130 but Media boy has told there will be slate for Dave hd on channel 129 :confused:

Thumbs up to Media Boy for the info - but!

Watch +1 and Dave Ja Vu going -who cares? Two less cheap channels that I couldn't give a hoot about might be going to be replaced by another bunch of cheap channels I couldn't give a hoot about.

Probably naive of me or simply wishful thinking but I hoped and prayed that we were going to hear that Sky Atlantic was finally making its way to VM - some bloody hopes, unless it costs pennies, VM aren't interested, regardless of customer opinion.

UPDATE: Dave Ja Vu and Watch +1 given new channels numbers.

Sometime before October 6th:

Watch +1 to move from Virgin Channel 125 to Virgin Channel 190,
Dave Ja Vu to move from Virgin Channel 128 to Virgin Channel 191.

They could put the comedy central channels between channels 182-185 and could leave space for Alibi HD on channel 131 to launch in 2012 and they could put Syfy HD and Syfy +1 next to Syfy on the epg.

Why would they, there is no need to move those channels.

Nothing would be done until they actually need to launch that channel.

A: RTE Radio and WRN Radio do not broadcast in Ex-ntl and Ex-Cable & Wireless areas - yet.

Q: NOW THAT BSKYB HAS TOOK OVER VIRGIN MEDIA TELEVISION WILL ANY CHANNELS CLOSE ON VIRGIN TV?
A: Yes Sky has closed Bravo, Channel One and Challenge Jackpot down. But us Virgin Media viewers will see some channels moving about as we have now got Sky1 HD, Sky Arts 1 HD and Sky Arts 2 HD on our network.

Q: WHY DO YOU THINK DISCOVERY WILL AXE TRAVEL & LIVING FOR TLC TO LAUNCH IN THE UK AND IRELAND?
A: Since March 2010 Discovery has replace all the following versions of Discovery Travel & Living with TLC.
