Cheers BR that certainly sounds promising, for me now the other HD channels I'd really like to see on VM to make it complete would be The History HD and Nat Geo Wild, obviously any others would be welcome, but if we get these two on top of what we already have and are getting, we'll have the best of the bunch on VM.:)

ive got the v+box and the vip package so ive got everything when sky sports HD and sky movies HD Start will i have to pay more money to get them or will i get them free with my package?

I have seen August 3rd as an launch date for ESPN America HD being rumoured about on the web. But no insiders I know can confrim this.

Virgin Media ''Test'' Radio Channels?

Since last night everytime I go to Channel 888 to 892 I can hear ''On Demand Previews'' but I cant see any film.

Have Virgin turns the Test Channels into Radio. (Can they do that?)

Also my Total Channels has gone up by three from last week.

surely this is wrong though as we aren't getting Sports HD 3 and 4 as OFCOM chose to leave these out

I emailed CEO office to express my digust regarding the new HD charges and have had a call from June Fitzhugh(CEO`s Office) this morning,I must say i was very impressed she took the time to call me.She did confirm that they are looking at updating the VIP packages and also confirmed that the HD Charge was insisted by sky in order for them to have access to the Premium HD content,I informed her regarding the latest ploy by sky regarding the Half Price sky world offer sky are currently peddling to ex sky/vm customers and that they are quite vocal on the you aint getting 3+4 in hd.Yes i have took the sky offer(£24.25 per month)But i aint gonna cancel with VM,I hate to give sky any of my money but who can turn down a offer like that it would cost me £34.50 just for premium channels with vm.Think it`s time now to just except what as happened and to now get back behind VM,We still get free HD in the XL pack and there is more to come.

I also asked about Sky Sports News HD coming to VM,She couldn`t comment on that.Clearly not been confirmed yet.I suspect will start on sky on launch day then delayed before coming to VM

So if I wanted to upgrade to the £7.00 premium channels and order online for instance what would I do, ?? I am on a XL Tv Package and I am already subscribed to Sky Sports.

You go to www.virginmedia.com/skyhd and pick the option for the same package that you currently have with the HD bolt on.

As it's not possible to add the SD charge twice it will just increase the bill by £7
