Reminds me of an incident decades ago when I had a tiny 850cc Mini: Mr "I'm a big poser in my 3 litre Capri" went blasting by on a dual carriageway only to get into an almighty kerb to kerb fishtail ending up astride the central reservation on his belly going nowhere. While I just pootled by secure in the front wheel drive handling. Smug does not even begin to describe it. :)

We'd make ice runs in the playground with snow and water to see who could get the longest skid. The best was those of us who had had segs fitted to our shoes to make them last better. Nobody stopped us kids from having fun then.

Sledge and tray runs on the waste ground next to the school where there were some serious slopes.

Bet the jobsworths put a stop to that these days. :(
