Same with the Star Wars Anime - I didnt care for that either.

I'm not the biggest fan of a lot of it, but the ones Netflix had out, were great. More of a fan of the 80s and 90s manga stuff.

They've announced the main cast already. Including Jemma Redgrave as well as that other main UNIT guy. Starts filming next month. Also Russell and Gugu are playing new characters and not the same ones they've played before.

It was also not really the BBC or Disney that announced it but Russell T Davies himself on stage at the Doctor Who panel at SDCC.

Vought Rising has been ordered by Amazon, this is a Boys prequel set in the 1950s
Jensen Ackles will return to star as Soldier Boy, and Aya Cash as Stormfront (then known as Clara Vought).

Soldier Boy is also set to return in the [final] Season 5 of The Boys itself.

One of my sites has a release date for Strange New Worlds Season 3 (28th Jul 2025).
However, I cant find any other source to verify that date. Given its a year away, I'm not convinced atm.

The [planned] Battlestar Galactica reboot has been cancelled by Peacock.
According to reports, its being shopped to other outlets (In other words, its basically dead).

Like many great tv events, Lost, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead (a bit) and potentially Breaking Bad, The Battlestar Galactica reboot, didn’t know how to end, or end well. It had run too long, had too many plot lines, had introduced Lore and didn’t know how to resolve them all satisfactorily for the viewers that had stuck with it.

I’m not sure where a new BSG could have gone. If anything I would have liked to have seen them continue the original series (updated where needed in FX and costume of course), and ignore the 1980 variant.

Daredevil: Born Again to premiere on !st March 2025. A second season has also been confirmed.

The Librarians: The Next Chapter seems to have been put on indefinte hold.
It was due to air in the autumn, but thats now been cancelled, no reason given. :(

After being dumped by Disney+, Nautilus was picked up by AMC.
However, they have shown no interest in showing it atm, with no dates announced.
In the meantime its shown up on Swedish channel 'SVT', and french channel 'France 2'.
In addition, its now been announced the show will be on UK Amazon Prime from Friday 25th October.
