This probably wont affect forza but you MUST set the xbox 1 to 50hz output otherwise you will get frame drops when watching tv through the xbox 1.

Just to clarify the uk television output uses 50hz but when playibg games the xbox will use 60hz.

The hz setting in the xbox 1 tv settings is purely to stop the stuttering for a tv signal that needs 50hz as opposed the th e usa 60hz system.

I hear ya, I thought it was just for the tv, which I don't intend to connect to be honest, I will have to get busy googling to see if it's a common issue, I will in the mean time swap out the Hemingway cable that came with the console just in case it's faulty. Thanks as usual gents :)

I did pre load it (digital version). Got the message about the update when I launched it for the first time :)

If you'd had you xbox on instant on it would have pre-loaded update also :) , doesn't make much difference it doesn't work anyway :(

When did you pre-order it? The update downloaded at the same time as the game was downloading for me.

Wayne, do you have auto-updates enabled *as well as* Instant-On?

The 15GB Day One Content Update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection was available from Thursday last week, meaning that anyone who pre-loaded the digital version should have had the update before the game unlocked on Tuesday this week.

Yup, when I downloaded it it said it was a 60GB download.

The install times on the Xbox One are getting stupid now, over 2 hours to install Halo from the disc it's pathetic.

Will have to check Matt. Damien C, disconnect from live, install the game and reconnect the console to live. That should speed it up :)

I am having trouble here...

I uninstalled the Xbox Media Player app, how and where do i go to get it installed again as i can't find it?

Strangely i also get an error if i run Xbox Video app, i also can't browse a memory stick, i will be grateful if someone can check theirs too and report back.
