We must stick together, says Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger

Sounds like a king in his last days of being on the throne.

is the issue really Wenger...or the lack of speding on quality players

I err to the latter, they lack real quality

The problem is in the last few years they have let many high class players go but then the problem is they have replaced them with second raters.

He will be at Arsenal for a while yet. At least till the end of the season. I dont think he is in any danger of being sacked

Yes it tells you whether its the manager , owner or chairman the pressure is always there and in the long run as we have seen with other people in the game it can have a detrimental effect on a persons health.

Too difficult a job, quite high expectations, not much money. I suspect that might do it. I think Arsenal are best suited to him in England but I wouldn't be surprised to see him in Germany instead. Much more rational footballing culture. Incidentally I think Jürgen Klopp would be an ideal successor to Wenger, he has a track record of being successful at Dortmund which is a club similar to Arsenal in many respects. Granted he isn't a big name to appease the masses but anyone who follows German football closely will testify to his qualities.

Pep is untested, it will be a very different task to Barcelona. He had money, the world's best team, and inherited a system and a culture that had been there for decades and one which he grew up in as a player. Even after he has left Barcelona and doing just as well, maybe even better, than before. It's really difficult to see how he would do at another club where he won't have any of those advantages.
