The main difference between the two sides was in goal. Chelsea's custodian made several excellent saves, whilst Howard was doing an impersonation of David Seaman v Ronhaldino (sp) in the World Cup, except that Seaman actually did try to reach the ball.:)

I think Forest are doing really well this season. ;) They have made some good signings. I may even tip them for premotion. :D

But having said that the mighty Blue Army arent doing great :(

Yep, I'd hazard a guess Howard will be gone by the end of the season. The transfer window has what, another week or so? SAF needs a decent keeper and neither Howard or Roy "it's didn't cross the line!" Caroll are up to the mark IMO.

True, the premiership will always need yo-yo teams :D

Reid, Dawson, Gerrard, Morgan, Johnson, Commons, Harris... why are we 23rd Joe Kinnear?

Actually, while I agree that Howard isn't exactly world class, I thought he had a decent game, and managed to pull a few good saves off. I don't think that he was particularly at fault for Chelseas first goal, because the defence pretty much switched off. As for the second, it has to be said that he just didn't make any decision (let alone the right one).

I thought it was a pretty good game all round (as a neutral) - at least it looked like both teams were actually trying to win it!

Wrong, Alex Ferguson is a legend. Mourinho is nowhere near that status.

Hasn't even been here one full season yet and already calling him a legend....please!

let's not forget that if Scholes' goal had been allowed last season we would have won and he wouldn't be at Chelsea

it's a loose loose situation.. if you win all the time no one likes you.. if you loose no one likes you..

i'm sure after Morinho has been at Chelsea 16 years, if he lasts that long, and wins as many trophies then no one will like him either

It's not the success, I can stand that, it's his attitude problem.

He won't. Abramovich will have left and withdrawn his millions long before then all the stars will have moved on.
