Arsenal are plotting a swoop for German midfield pair Marco Reus, 24, and Julian Draxler, 20. Juventus are also said to be interested in Draxler, who is valued at £34m by his current club Schalke, while Dortmund's Reus would also cost in excess of £30m.

Draxler at £34 million, not yet and I think Bayern will have something to say. Reus is a go ahead though.

Reus is a tough one. He's refused BIG moves because he loves Dortmund. I'd love him at Arsenal. I agree with Draxlers tag, its too much. Arsenal used him as a smokescreen when completing the Ozil signing.

Plenty of wrong Reus info doing the rounds. He has a release clause - €35m - but it only kicks in in 2015.

And then Arsenal defend poorly.

Always thought that £40 M for Ozil was not money well spent with a defence like that, they are not exactly short of midfielders are they?

we're ok on numbers. id prefer a striker than a defender. it was schoolboy defending by quality players.

TBH I would not put Mertesacker and Koscielny very high on the list of 'quality' Premiership defenders.

Why because they have made a few mistakes? big deal. name one defender that hasnt. even Kompany one of thee best in the league makes mistakes. on the whole they are quality defenders. Bayern and Barcelona wanted Koscielny summer just gone.

Nice result for Swansea, after a shaky start to the season it looks like things are on track now.

Not too hopeful about the Manc derby. But if ever there was an opportunity for Rooney to step up and prove Moyes wrong about RVP being the 'star' player it is today.
