That was in ref to DVDs. BR discs do indeed use letters.

Have any of you guys noticed occasionally whilst playing Forza 5 that you can see the odd little stutter every ten or twenty seconds, I've noticed it more when I'm racing with behind the car view, I'm not sure if it's a fault with game or my console, the sound is unaffected.

Answers on a postcard

Hard to say but it sounds like frame drops, but have you tried pulling the power on the Xbox and leaving it for say 5 minutes then trying it again.

I had a similar problem once with Forza where it didn't play smoothly, all i did to fix it was select my model of TV in the X1 settings again and it instantly went away.

If that doesn't fix it try a hard reset by pulling out the power cord or holding the console ON button down for several seconds when turning it off.

Cheers guys not tried the hard reset as I didnt want to bugger anything up, do I do it when the console is powered up and running, then just simply pull the plug and wait?

If you use the button method then you do that when the console is on, then next time you turn it on it will take a little longer to boot up, it wont affect anything on your HDD.

The easiest way is to power down the xbox 1 and pull the power cord out for 10 seconds though.

I would reset the TV settings in the X1 first as that is what surprisingly fixed my stuttering in Forza for me.

You should have got the digital version and pre-loaded it ;)

The update is only needed for multiplayer, btw.

Hi Guys, did the power reset thing, and reset my TV settings to recognise the Panasonic LED TV in the Xbox one settings. Any tips on what herts I should set it too though, it's currently on 60 but should it be 50?

Reason is the stutter is still there, Ive also changed HMDI slots on the TV just to rule that out.
