Interesting! Do I remember correctly that a French TV channel closed down over here recently? If so, can you give any info as to whether or not the channel is gonna specalise in world tv? (i.e French, Scandinavian, Australian -other than Neighbours etc.Homeland is just a remake from Israel T.V. after all) We have been treated to some belting shows, films and books over the last few years from said other countries. IF (and it is a huge IF) this is the case, I will want this channel much more than I do Sky Atlantic.

I appreciate you will not be able give much away Chad, but if you can cheer me up by telling me that I am wrong in my assumption, I will be very happy. If I guess right, I will be gutted:(

I can't see it having any foreign language entertainment.

.

Let's hope they put all their Sky produced shows on it, then I won't care if comes to VM or not.

I know that without a source this just looks like me, as a SKY customer trying, to wind people up. If people don't believe me that's understandable.

Your crystal ball has never been far wrong before Chad.:D

Phew, that's a relief, thanks Chad. I doubt I will be overly bothered whatever the channel is now. The only thing I will be upset about is if they stick the ending of Mad Dogs on it!

The old crystal ball was tuning into wild speculation, rather than fact, for a short period :D

I wish that VM would hurry up and tell us IF BT Sports will be the network.

I have just had an email to say that BT Sports will only be on Sky, BT. and that the only way to watch football from BT Sports.

So come on VM, pull your finger out and tell us whats happening.

Arthur, jesus h mate, do you have any patience? you continually whine on about this and numerous posters have told you time and again that we will know when the negotiations are finalised, if Virgin don't know when the actual date is ( that's if we actually get the channel) then how can they tell anyone?

The premiership starts in 6 weeks so they need to get things sorted fairly soon

Arthur if you are that bothered do not forget that you have to give VM 30 days notice? Also you gave a cooling off period for any new services you get so you could take BT or SKY and then if VM get cancel

Is normal for Virgin to inform their customers 4 or 5 days after the channels broadcasting on their platform and we all know anyway!
