Re: General Sky TV Discussion
It's clear to see why there making these changes in bringing On Demand to the fore , it seems there's plenty of incentive from a business point of view.
The total subscriber base connected is in excess of 4.4 million , this will encourage more to connect. 2013 saw 1.2 billion requests for On Demand content via STB and Sky Go more than double 2012. Those with connected boxes are watching more TV overall. In some cases repeats and on-demand views account for more than four times as many viewers as even a major show’s premiere. Over a million searches a day with search in its current position behind the blue button. Sky Store revenues were massively up. |

New Sky+ app update available for Android and iOS.
What's New in Version 4.8 - Brand new Homepage page with all of your TV & movies in one easy to find place - A New Series section where you can find the latest TV shows and can catch up from the start - Some of you miss having a Highlights section to help you find things to watch, so we've added it back in as part of the new the Homepage - Extra remote control features - turn your Sky+HD box on/off and Select/Back Up buttons (you’ll need a new Sky+HD software update, more info in the description) |

It would appear Sky HD viewers in England will receive BBC One HD on channel 101 from Monday.
It would also appear Sky HD viewers will be able to view HD versions of the four national versions of BBC One HD on Sky channels 976-979. http://www.bbc.co.uk/reception/news/news_item29.html |
Re: General Sky TV Discussion
I have bbc hd on 101 for awhile (at least the last couple of months)..albeit I am in Scotland
Didn't realise the rest weren't that way |
Re: General Sky TV Discussion
BBC 1 Wales HD is on 101 too. I think it's because Scotland/Wales local news is has been broadcast in HD for a while.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
