At least it's a different product category, never understood how so many jewellery channels survived. :)

According to JJ20X on Forumbox the tier codes for MTV HD, now the free period has ended, are the same as the SD version.

So there's nothing stopping the SD versions of Channel 5, Paramount, Comedy Central and MTV being removed, they've already swapped their EPG positions.

Space for another ViacomCBS channel to launch in HD maybe. They still have those apps to launch, the ones mentioned last year when their deal was renewed. My5, Pluto TV and an MTV one if I remember correctly.

I wonder when/if ViacomCBS wll; get the licence back to use CBS in the UK? It's currently licensed to AMC.

Since my last post about the listing on Channel 756 it has been updated and the TiVo EPG info now says that Jewellery Maker will stay on Virgin Media after all. But with Sewing Street listing appearing on Virgin we think it look set to launch soon when it also launch on Freeview.

On Freeview - the two share a IPTV red button service where you load the interactive service and pick the channel you want. Could be the schedules got confused.

If Virgin Media UK was told to remove the SD Channels you listed it would have happen on January 7th.

ViacomCBS do not have any more HD Channels broadcasting right now.

Note: Paramount Network HD and MTV Live HD are only broadcasting in UK on Virgin Media.

Has Paramount Network +1 launch yet on Sky?

I agree that is likely the timing, if it was going to happen, for it to occur. I was just saying that because on the day I posted what you quoted the Free To All Month had just expired, and that if ViacomCBS had some strange reasoning for keeping the SD channels during that offer, but not after, then that period ended that day.

People keep saying they want to launch 5USA HD, though I've never read anything other than talk on forums, never official sources saying that.
