As stupid as it sounds...sometimes turning it off and on is the best solution.

If I could do the same for people, life would be so much easier :D

Sometimes, you just need to turn it on in the first place :p:

Probably wouldn't work so well on most girls I know (turning them off and on again...)

I guess you turned on auto-haptic. Settings => Sound => Auto haptic. Turn it off or deselect the app in the list of auto-haptic apps.

On the note of the S3, Samsung seem to have copied Apple again in yet another aspect, having built a phone that likes to spontaneously self-combust:

One case doesnt mean it will happen on all devices

Same could be said of the exploding iPhones.

The music player ethier goes off or goes on pause. im wordering if there is a fault with ethier the headphones or the socket but not sure how to tell.

OK so this just happened to me for the first time today; music player simply disappeared 10 seconds into a track.

Incidentally the only difference between today and yesterday is I disabled media sharing and downloaded a wake lock application.

I have had media sharing disabled since i got it, maybe its connected to that. I have used Poweramp and no issues with that at all, so maybe it is a software issue with media player

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3

Well I figured out what it was for me. There's two different things.

One is the mute/pause music when you place your palm against the phone (feature), the other is the RAM management being bad - for me I only notice it when browsing heavy web pages during which the music player sometimes exits.

But the placing palm against phone to mute it feature did trigger it a few times in my pocket too. I just turned it off. Not happened once since.

That featurehas been turned off since i got it and it still happened to me. I think its a RAM managment issue. Been using poweramp alot and had no issues with that at all. Im on the trial version so may buy the full version. Not sure if winamp or poweramp is better
