Re: Close Season Transfer Rumour Mill
Hi Nugget, l do agree on the Berba agent stuff, but Fergie was after him at the begining of last season, but what the biggest problem surrounding Berba, he reminds me of Chivers, he was a lazy player, until Nicholson, put his boot up his backside, and l know, what Bill Nich, would have said today, if you don't want to play in our white shirt, you can leave, and he did not muck about either, l think if Berba, went to Man Utd, Fergie, would not put up with his moods, when he plays for Spurs, he can be very quiet one minute, then explode the next, and he does NOT like to be taken off, but this has been going on for the last 18 months. I have supported Spurs for 30 years, and the club has the same attitude, if you don't want to play for us, you can go, no matter how big the player was.

We have confirmed the comments came from Sir Alex talking at a supporters' meeting. Of course United deny Fergie said any such thing, but then they would, wouldn't they? |

Knowing the man's arrogance he probably turned up and addressed the Spurs supporters club...... |
Re: Close Season Transfer Rumour Mill
You missed the first bit -
A Tottenham spokesman added: "We have confirmed the comments came from Sir Alex talking at a supporters' meeting. Ferguson then said - "I don't know where they got those quotes from but it wasn't from me. The complaint appears to be on the basis of a story in a paper." Fergie had an interview with United's Scandinavian Supporters' Club branch last week but the Reds have checked the tape and there is nothing untoward in the transcript. It's one person's word against another at the moment, we wont find out until the premier league have looked at it. Fair enough, he deserves the criticism if he did say that but at the moment we don't know. ---------- Post added at 17:09 ---------- Previous post was at 17:08 ---------- Quote:
What about Chelsea's public pursuit of Robinhio, shall we talk about that and the comments Kenyon has made? |

Besides I dont hear any complaints from the Real Madrid camp - just thinks about his valuation. Oh and also unlike Man Utd/Fergie I havent heard anyone from Chelsea moaning about underhand tactics by any other clubs when it comes to unsettling their players. I think you fail to understand the point that both me and the daddy have made. Un settling players happens all the time. We are just finding it totally hypocritical at how much Fergie/Man Utd etc moaned at Real's pursuit of Ronaldo when he does the same himself (he does have a proven track record of unsettling players) |

If we are talking about hypocrites what about Spurs and the way they took John Bostock from Palace? Oh yeah, that doesn't involve United, so isn't important, silly me. |

How come there isn't uproar over Harry Redknapps recent comments? Where is the difference in what he says and what Fergie is supposed to be saying?

In other news we have signed Behrami. Good player imo might not tear up any trees but he tries hard http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...td/7521732.stm |
Re: Close Season Transfer Rumour Mill
