If you like Photoshop but would like a freebie alternative, check out Photo Pea.
It runs in your Internet Browser so no need to install anything and will open and save to various formats including Photoshop PSD. Very useful. https://www.photopea.com/ |

Im always a bit dubious using online photo editors. Do they keep a copy of whats been edited or saved?

The best free image editing software has to be The Gimp (mentioned previously in this thread). Almost as good as photoshop.
