And keep the cleaner away from the screen or they will end up giving you one of these https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2010/11/46.jpg

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Ah right. I thought they left you waiting that long to replace it. It might not just be the screen that is faulty. It could be something else. They might replace the whole thing.
|
Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
When the engineer came he was here like 1 minute so hopefully he knows his stuff hehe.
I wouldn't mind if they replaced for a newer model, and i guess if it can't be repaired they would have too. |
Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
One min? He cant have seen much in one min :erm:
|
Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
All he did was switch it on and said it needs a new panel, he then said he had seen enough to know it does.
|
Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
 Would love to know how much he gets paid to do that and the length of time he spend in your house :D

Wow, I managed to complete an assignment for a training course I attended recently.
Doesn't sound much, I know, but it has taken up more time than I realised it would - so I'm happy I've finished ... Now just remains to be seen if I have done enough to pass the course & get the certificate ;) |

Managed to get my daughter some floor tickets for the Glee Tour concert in Manchester next June - I'll tell her tonight, and make it an extra birthday surprise.
I am sure her squeal of delight will be heard a couple of miles away (she's 23, btw, but a real Gleek)....:D |

My eldest (strange calling a 2 year old that) had his hearing test today which was arranged as part of his autism diagnosis.
My suspicions were confirmed, he has perfected male selective hearing at this young age and there is actually damn all wrong with his hearing, yay! :D |

Wouldn't be much good at them either as the men would still have selective hearing. I guess us women are doomed and have to accept the way the men are Jo :erm: :D:D

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Really enjoyed him - he can riff on and off a topic at without missing a beat, and speaks even faster than me; he had the entire house in non-stop laughter, and how he used feedback from the audience was a joy to behold.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Thank good its Friday, it has been the bitch of a week
On Tueday our franking machines PSU went bang, so we had to use another but we killed that one. and the engineer had to take the PSU out of the other machine and put in ours. On Wednesday I had to credit the machine with £5,000, on Thursday morning I had to add another £5,000, and again on Thursday PM £5,000. This Morning I needed to add yer another £5,000, but there was no cash. But thank god it was sorted. in two day I estimate that I've franked in excess of 56,000 letter/parcels. All that for £5.91ph |
