Is La Liga TV just a background channel similar to Scouse And **** TV?

Or does it have rights to the live La Liga games (thought these had been sold to Prem Spts?)

La Liga TV is Prem Sports, it was part of the deal they made.

No. It is a separate channel, it was part of the La Liga deal that they have separate service as well as showing games on their existing channels.

That's not what the article says, MB.

Viewers will be able to choose from a free version of the service, or access a premium "Plus" version of the service for £5.99 a month, which will contain more live sport. The premium service is also available via Amazon Prime Video and via cable on Virgin TV.

The article says it's closing on Sky. Later in the article it says it's still going to be on Virgin, though what's available will be a premium service for £5.99 a month. So it might still be on the EPG.

We think it will stop broadcasting on Channel 298 to everyone and become an Red Button Channel like Youtube.

The way RXTV has reported the story is poor.
