Yeah to confirm my tv guide (yes i still buy a print one lol) is saying true christmas from it's saturday listings. As tv guides weeks start on a saturdat friday would seem correct for the change.

Apparently sales of TV guides are bucking the trend and doing well.
Bit worrying about Chrimbo listings appearing imminently; we've not even had Guy Fawkes Night yet!

Perhaps these :erm: thrilling :erm: free porn channels are having an unexpected effect on the PPN NVOD channels. XXX Mums is no longer available on 977.

=== To Be Confirmed ====
-ITV will launch an HD Channel for ITV Anglia (East) region on Virgin UK Channel 113 soon.
-ITV will launch an HD Channel for ITV Tyne Tees region on Virgin UK Channel 113 soon.
-ITV will launch an HD Channel for ITV Yorkshire (West) region on Virgin UK Channel 113 soon.

I remember saying a few months ago, when these additional regions were added to Sky, that ITV had no plans to add them to Cable or Freeview for the foreseeable future. At the time though, I thought that VM was carrying all of the ITV +1 regions, this appears not to be the case.

Looking at the NIT from the information I received a few weeks ago, I can see that a single ITV +1 SID 10242 is used in the Yorkshire, North East and Cumbria regions. So presumably the Yorkshire version is used in each region. On Satellite & Freeview, Cumbria carries the Granada version of ITV +1 and the North East has had its own version since early 2012.

Similarly, on VM, the Anglia and Meridian ITV regions share ITV +1 SID 10244. Anglia has had a separate regional feed on Freeview / Satellite since early 2012.

ITV +1 Wales & Westcountry was replaced on Freeview / Satellite with additional versions in the West and South West, with Wales keeping its own version. VM has a single version of ITV +1, SID 10248 across the West and South West.

If VM hasn't caught up with the additional ITV +1 regions, which have been running for over four and a half years, I wouldn't expect the additional HD regions any time soon.

I buy this magazine as well. It is better than the EPG for identifying programmes to record. Wading through all the channels on the EPG for the next week's viewing is incredibly boring.

We set Wishlists as that generally tells us when something we like is coming on.

Yes, but that won't pick up any programmes you are unaware of.

I find the EPG set to Live Guide is quite easy to use - you can see the whole of the channel's output for the evening. Press down and it is the whole of the next channel.

I tend to use GeekTown website - http://www.geektown.co.uk/uk-air-dates/

Keeps me informed when programmes are due to return or when new ones will start.

As i've cut the cord the magazine is ideal to keep tabs on what will be on the tv catch up players etc.

Don't you find that it also picks up a lot of stuff you are not really interested in as well? That wouldn't be good if your hard drive is 95% full and you've set some recordings in HD!
