-Bio may move to an new broadcasting stream when Lifetime launches.
-Lifetime +1 or Lifetime HD may also launch.

to be fair MB, whoever it is who is telling you this has been quite wrong;

2 weeks ago they said 'No new channels to launch this week' and we got Premier Sports

Same last week and we got Fox+

In which case "no new channels" must be good news :)

The online Sky Guide shows "Programmes no longer available" on Bio after the Lifetime launch, although DigiGuide continues to list a single daily episode of "Pawn Stars" between 11am and noon. Perhaps Bio is being retained as a place-holder channel on Sky.

Confirmed: No more Sky Channels confirmed as set to launch on Virgin Media.

Virgin Insiders has tonight given me an update list of channels confirmed as set to launch on Virgin Media by 2014. Still no new Sky Channels on the list.

We all have to remember that if these Sky channels are to launch, nobody will tell anyone until the day they go live, much like BT, everything will be very hush hush.

however it would be interesting to see the take up of Now TV Entertainment, if it doesn't make it Skys worthwhile then we are more likely to see Atlantic.

yes of course they not announce anything to after launch as VM always do like I said before BT and VM needed the deal for BT sports sky don't need to do a deal that's the big difference and only place SA will go is now tv

I think that's most peoples complaints about this thread. Everyone builds up expectation and then it turns into belief that it going to happen with no firm proof. No confirmed channel launches, it's morphs into fact as 'everything will be hush hush' Nothing said - it must be happening. (I'll be the first to publicly apologise on here should anything arrive.)

Nothing but nothing can be relied upon or taken as gospel due to 'insiders' proven by the point further up of previous 'no channel launches' immediately followed by PS and Fox+. If there are 'insiders' providing information, then judging by those very examples, they are no more in the know than anyone on here or indeed the general public at large.

I still think SA and the other missing channels are a good way off since the NowTV expansion has been announced. I personally think that Sky would be crazy to give this anything less than 12 months and then see how the land lies. They can see their subscriptions will start to slow down and this is a way to boost their numbers and presence. It's certainly not a short term gamble.

As people have said, Sky doesn't need VM as much as VM needs Sky and with Skys quarterly profits round about 60% more than VMs, subs increase per 1/4 around 4 times as many, I can't see this changing anytime soon
