Really hope it's a yes so this is all finished and over with because there is a core of fanatical Scots that will not accept anything but yes and the SNP will find a way to accuse someone of rigging the vote. If no wins this open sore is just going to seep until the next referendum that they will campaign for as soon as possible. There is little to no goodwill left for Scotland and nearly everyone I know off as well as online has no time for this anyone. Scotland winners yeah right their international profile has been damaged a section of the population has shown itself to be very close to out and out thuggery and your politicians are seen in worst light then most politicians quite the achievement scotland the winners in this don't make me laugh there were or are no winners out of this complete mess.

Also, SKY and BBC are saying that 97% of the electorate turned out to vote. Maybe we should have a referendum every election time, that way we could guarantee a decent turnout. Wonder what sort of turnout figure a referendum on leaving the EU would get?

Not exactly. 97% of all those entitled to be on the electoral roll, are on it. That in itself is a very high number, but what we don't yet know is how many of those who got on to the roll, have actually turned out to vote.

The turnout will be announced at each count, as it is calculated. The only one we know so far is Edinburgh, which is 89%. BBC Scotland political editor Brian Taylor is saying he does not believe a high turnout will favour one side or the other. He thinks everyone in Scotland has been equally fired up for this.

Ah, must have misread the ticker at the bottom of the screen.

And now Alex Salmond has vanished, and nobody knows when or where he might make an appearance. A planned marquee party in his home village, which he was meant to be at, has been cancelled. He's not now expected to show up at the Aberdeen count, either. Sme suggestions that a Lear jet has been seen leaving Aberdeen bound for Edinburgh. With any luck it'll connect with a flight to Havana and we'll be shut of him for good ...

Disappointed with A Murray, he should have kept his to himself, He does not have to care about money etc, I may still support him in tennis

That was a bit odd Nashie, for him to manage to sit on the fence right through the whole thing and then come out for Yes only after it was too late to make a difference.

He's put himself in a tough position. Every Scot was behind him 100% willing him on to win a Slam. His comments about supporting anyone England played against a few years ago still dogs him today. He's now alienated himself from a huge part of his support in Scotland and the rest of the UK.

He could become the first Brit to get booed at Wimbledon.

I start work at 9:00am. I didn't plan to, but I'm staying up all night! I've got a feeling there's going to be some silly sleepy moments in the office tomorrow.

100% Never considered YES at all at any stage. Never really been interested in politics and have never voted before however I'm a proud Scot, and a proud Brit, and have felt that my identity and way of life was at risk.

Can't count our chickens yet though, nothing officially confirmed at all.

Yourself? You've not been involved in the vote rigging in Glasgow have you? :)
