Same goes for the 3rd tuner. VM knew they would want a 3rd tuner when they first spoke to Tivo, one would think they could have worked on this much sooner. It all seems a bit last minute to me.

To me, it's simple. You can opt to get TIVO ASAP with a few things not perfect, or wat until all the functionaity is there. There is no way TIVO/Virgin delayed development; they did as much as they could in the available time.

Peronally I'll have it ASAP; just waiting for the call.

Yup I reckon they will all have 001 on them, it is the URN (Unique Reference Number) below that which you should enter on their website

virginmedia.com/oneofthefirst

Once entered, it says you should be notified if a winner by the 20th March

Re: TiVo

I had Tivo installed yesterday and whilst I am pleased with it, When I set to record a show or series link I have had to put the buffering on an individual recording or a series link. On V+ you can set every recording whether series link or individual recording to buffer every time without having to set each recording or series link. For a supercharged box of tricks Tivo is supposed to be, I find this absolutely ridiculous! This needs looking at when improvements are suggested.

You need to enter the unique number on their website for the chance to win one of a 1000 free Tivo's for 12 months.

Worth a try :-)

I've not had one of those so looks like there is a lottery to get into the lottery :D

That looks like a bug for sure so expect fix in a patch update as agree would be too much work to set buffer everytime you want to record.

Aside from the personalised remote offer mentioned previously, all other VIPs and Triple XL customers have been entered into a raffle to win TiVo free for a year. Plus pre-registrations will be contacted imminently also, in the first instance for customers in those brackets above, then all others, with potential new customer prospects being last in the chain as has often been discussed over the last few weeks.

Thanks for the info but is it triple XL or XL TV, phone and BB? I'm XL TV, XXL BB and L phone you see so not sure if I would get one?

are we talking VM 'coming soon' style "imminently ? ... if so could still be weeks away :D

and the 'free for a year' i assume just means the £3 a month subs are free and the box still has to be paid for in advance ?

nothing here yet in email or snailmail and havent seen anyone in this region post they have had an offer/contact yet
