Snowing heavily here in swansea at the moment but nowhere near as bad as they made it out to be on the news! Although it is very very windy here.

Yep I feel totally lied to, it's just freezing rain here. Cardiff may have a foot of snow today but Swansea has still got the only Premier League team in Wales :D

Drove from North Cardiff to South Cardiff with no problems at all.Perhaps a quarter of an inch of snow in car park . For Cardiff people worst part of journey was Park Place turning into Boulevard de Nantes ( No jokes please that is the road name really!)

I bet South West Trains are breathing a sigh of relief now there is a tiny bit of snow (1/4" in about an hour) to help them justify why they already threw in the towel and closed rail lines.

About 5 - 7cm here and still snowing. Walked the dog earlier, traffic is moving slowly. Plenty of idiots around driving without headlights on, and the stupid #**#*#* who haven't cleared snow off their car windows just put the wipers on!!!!!

An inch so far here in SW Herts. Glad I decided to work from home today. The kids school is shutting at 1:30. No way am I driving to pick them up, they're walking home today
