Clown.

I didn't expect a strong side to be put out yesterday so I was somewhat surprised seeing the line up with the away games coming up.

I may be be a bit slow on the uptake here, but why would you sign someone on a permanent contract, who had been on loan to you since August, just to then loan him out to another club? It seems to be a long winded way to get a loan player from Atletico Madrid.

I'm guessing AM getting Torres (albeit temporarily) had to be part of the deal for Cerci. Plus it's a chance for Torres to find his form again after Chelsea crapped him out.

Around the same time, Newcastle confirmed there'd been no compensation agreement. Not the wisest paper to quote from Den :D

De boer is a no go, actual favourite is the old menace with the brolly at Derby... From Pardew to McClaren, unbelievable.

This really shows the state Newcastle are in behind the scenes, they can't even keep Alan Pardew at the club...

I don't think anyone, including Newcastle wants Alan Pardew at the club. getting paid to get rid of him, brilliant.

Well what else can you expect from Mike Ashley.

And you think McClaren will be any better? I wouldn't be surprised if Palace finish above Newcastle this season after this.

Given the mood of Newcastle fans up here...We couldn't care less who's in charge as long as it's not Pardew. Kinnear, couldn't care less.
