Better keep an eye on the changelog, then Dave. There won't me any prior announcement, methinks.

Being sworn to secrecy means nothing to you, then, MM? He's being as helpful as he can, and wouldn't you like to receive these little hints rather than be kept in the dark?

Well, we are agreed on that! Of course there might be a joint promotion by Sky and Virgin, but somehow I think Sky will want to keep it low key. Same as BT all over again.

What the hell are you on about??? I wasn't asking him to reveal ANYTHING, all i said was "why bother" meaning why indeed bother to "leave little hints" as you put it, whats the point?
If we get the channels we get the channels, nothing said on here is going to change that!

Except for yesterday which was odd, but I guess it had been testing for nearly 2 months.

Then why read this thread? Your comment makes no sense. You won't find the hard evidence you're looking for on here!

It ain't a perfect world, mate.

Ah, that explains it. Thanks blue!

It's pure speculation, bamav, based on the perceived devaluation of the XL pack without something to replace the channels that have been made available to lower level packages.

If they can do it with BT Sport and ESPN, I would assume they could reach a similar deal with Netflix. Non-sports fans have lost out for too long and this would be seen, I think, as reasonable compensation for them.

Yes, and if they come during this month, we will all be very happy! I agree that autumn is as close as we can get to a launch date, but as we have seen with Fox +, even dead certainties can end up being delayed inexplicably.

I feel that VM would be best adding linear channels in XL, such as the elusive Sky channels. Netflix feels a little niche?

Once my 3 contracts up I will be very interested in the deals they offer.

If it came down to a choice of the missing sky channels or netflix included in xl for no extra cost, I would go for netflix.
