I rang up explained unfortunately they didnt seem to believe me a bit like your comment above indicates.

But I can say the services have worked perfectly so far. I havent tried to say they were unreliable or silly things like that. Can I ask if DF and Masque worked for NTL before it was VM. You dont seem like extelewest guys.

A lot of the calls are recorded why dont you ask them to find the original call where the CA said it would be a simple swap out and keep them to it?

That is incorrect, on average each agent has around 2 calls recorded per month for Quality sessions which are randomly chosen and usually consecutively recorded.

An agent may take 20 to 50 calls per day so very few calls are ever recorded.

That is lucky when i worked for o2 we used to have 8 per month, 2 side by side and 6 remotely.

Just out of interest , are the calls being made to people by area ? or by
when they registered going down list in order? or by what package you are
on,?

They change the criteria periodically but always 2 calls.:)

so far it seems nobody knows but VM themselves .. but then they have phoned the same people several times on a few occasions so i dont think the system is exactly working flawlessly ... (being kind there ... its actually a shambles if they call the same people more than once especially if those people have already signed up in the first call).. just my opinion and i bet the usual will defend it as 'normal' and not messed up

Not really it should not happen people getting one or more calls as it should be noted in the account.https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2012/11/13.gif

I've just been there and can't see many problems? Which ones are you talking about in particular?

Has anyone mentioned that there is no BBC Red Button on Tivo?

I'd say that is quite a big problem that needs sorting out quickly.

Maybe you should check out the TiVo Community forum before you get too excited. It looks like there are quite a few problems with the new TiVo. It has put me off totally. If and when they have this box market ready I might reconsider. I certainly will not fork out more money for a box that does less than my current V+ boxes.

I remain convinced that the only real advantage this TiVo has is a larger hard drive. I know that DF will come on here and praise things like uTube, a fancy search and other as yet unseen "apps" but ask yourself, what do we really use the box for? Watching and recording TV and that is what the V+ does brilliantly. The new TiVo will not be able to match it until all the promised add-ons, such as the third tuner, are up and running. How long are you prepared to wait for all these features to be introduced and have all the inevitable bugs cleared?

Realistically though most boxes have bugs at start , they soon get ironed out.

Re: TiVo

OFF THE TIVO COMMUNITY

Another thing I've noticed - if you go backwards in the guide and select a "catch-up" program, I understood it would go to that programme directly. But all it seems to do is go to the catch-up menu, where you still have to go through all the steps you did on the V+ box. I sincerely hope that at some point (soon?) you will indeed be able to go to a catch-up programme simply by selecting it in the TV guide - and if not, just what is the point of trumpeting this as a feature?

SEEMS A STUPID IDEA.
