The same thing happened here. This realy is not good enough these issues have now been on going since April when Ss red button launched. Numerious people have now raised theses issues on the community forum with no solution in sight. :(

Red button on SS3 and SS4 at the moment. I'd be interested to know if it works without a reboot.

No golf and no red button PGA Golf on soft reboot (on box) or hard reboot at plug)

There is, however, golf behind the golf on Sky Sports 2.... but that the foremtioned reboot... LOL got to love it :)

Contacted Virgin media to arrange for an engineer to call about problem with my V+HD box; signal loss and also unexpected automatic rebooting. I mentioned the red button problem and the need to reboot and it was suggested that the problem is due to too many people trying to access it!!!
Around midnight I thought I would give the golf red button a try and for the very first time it worked without the reboots so I guess the explanation might have some merit.

Just checked the red button on the NFL on my parents' SA V+ box and it worked perfectly first time. No reboot required. :tu:

Ditto just tried on my parents Samsung V+ and went through first time no problems at all. :)

The picture problem from last week seems to be absent this week as well. I don't know if that's a fix at Sky's end or VM's end but well done whoever fixed it. :)

I'm one of those who has always had problems with the red button but tried it just now on both my VHD and V+ and it works great on both, good job.

That'll be Sky or their provider. VM don't do any processing on the streams apart from re-encryption.

SS Red button is working fine on NFL Red Zone SS2 this week.
