Well it sort of defeats my argument if you exclude the examples that show they are 'moving forward'. Building a new stadium isn't easy and few of the big clubs have managed to do, Spurs are slightly on their way now after 10 years, Liverpool and Chelsea are still stuck. It's not as simple as having ambition or not having ambition.

Liverpool have ambition but doesn't mean they can go out and sign Falcao. There is ambition and then what is realistically achievable.

its about having a vision to compete on the pitch and getting the best out of the players at hand. we are moving forward yet we could be moving forward a lot faster if the manager pulled his finger out. 'go play' well done.

O'Neill is quite the overrated manager.

Could be worse, you could have Rafa Benitez. Why the Hell did Roman go for him, when he knows full well the Chelsea fans remember what he said about managing Chelsea?

Re: Football Season 2012/2013

Torres was a Roman buy. Rafa and Torres have some form of decent relations.

The trouble is Dave apart from Fletcher no one else seems to score much.

Not a fan of the above, Makes me feel if we'd qualify every season the champions league would be less prestigious.

Hard for me to explain since I would love nothing more than to watch my team compete at that level again but I just don't think it would feel the same being able to finish lower than fourth. Part of my Europa league experience was the joy of having to fight all season for that spot and earn it. Fighting for the champions league spot was also a great experience for us last year.

More likely it's clubs pushing for it...

That's pretty much our strongest team. Walcott will act as a 2nd striker I think.
