When I press the right hand arrow, apart from the channel that I'm on showing, nothing else happens, how do set scroll through the channels?

Press OK, then up/down to move through the channels, left/right to move through the times. Or press the "guide" button to go to the full-screen guide.

If I want to watch a particular programme at a set timed, how do I set it to change channel?

Highlight the programme you want in the guide, press OK, then select "Record and remind this programme"

I also have another issue since the update. I use TiVo to TiVo streaming for the Sky channels and prior to this update never had an issue, but now everything stutters and buffers. The boxes are connected via homeplugs and using speedtest.net im getting around 60mb through them as I always have done. Also PS3 connected through works fine.

Anybody else using MRS?

Sounds like you have more than two homeplugs. Some people report that two will work reliably, but not more. As a test, unplug all except the ones on the TiVos.

I use MRS, but connected with Ethernet.

ps. Welcome to the forum!

Ok my box is 27% full .

Set to record Body of Proof ( which I was going to cancel as I have seen it anyway) that is another point set to new only & its not flagged as new

The Tivo says it wont record as I do not have enough room !!
this program needs 72% of disk space really did anyone test the upgrade.
It should be scrapped until it works correctly.

Think it also takes into account recordings scheduled for the future.

When loading apps I get the purple ring every time, Spotify used to load up right away, My Nick Jr, Tiddlers and BBC red button all slow at loading since the update.

Grrrrr.....

OK, does I always have to select "Record and remind this programme" if I just want to watch the programmes?

Yes, you can only do record and remind on Tivo :( you cannot do just change channel.

I think the delays are something to do with the HDMI handshake. I pass my Tivo through my XBOX ONE and the last 2 days it is receiving a signal from the Tivo box, but then fails on the handshake, also the black screen for a few seconds is a classic case of handshake problems. I now have to reboot my Tivo every other day for it to work properly, and still get as my wife calls it the Ring Of Boredom a lot of the time.

I think you've hit the nail on the head, in your case at least. I've come across several examples where an XBOX has caused strange TiVo behaviour. Can you connect direct to the TV instead?

It does work correctly, Itshim, it sounds like there's a problem on your box. Reboot it at the plug and see if this cures it. If not, phone customer services.

My issue, is that it has been working fine for months and then the update, and now issues. Everything else works fine through the Xbox HDMI passthrough. (This includes Youview recorder, Now TV Box).
Connecting directly to the TV kind of defeats the object.

Thanks mate!

Ive only got two homeplugs one connected to the superhub along with the first TiVo and the other is a 3 port one that has the TiVo and ps3 connected in the bedroom.

Like I said all worked fine before the update and now struggles. Ive tried resetting the Tivos and setting everything back up again but still no luck.

Now that the TiVo update has been fully deployed, will the new BBC iplayer be added to TiVo?

Will that fix the buffering issues?
