24th. BBC Red Button 2 to launch on Virgin Channel 992.

30th. Sky Sports are to rebrand Sky Sports 2 as Sky Sports Ashes on Virgin Channel 512.

31st. ESPN will close on Virgin Channel 529 today.

-Made in Leeds will launch on Virgin Media sometime this month on Virgin Channel 159.

-London Live may launch on Virgin Media by 2015.
-Local TV broadcaster London Live has confirmed that Virgin Media will broadcast Local TV channels on Virgin Channel 159.
-RTE Radio and WRN Radio will be axe in old Telewest areas or added to all areas of Virgin Media.

-I have been told that Virgin Media are in talks with Sky to carry 'Sky Atlantic SD', 'Sky News HD' and 'Sky Sports News HD' - no updates since August 2012.
-Some new channels from Viacom may launch on Virgin Media (See 'Own by' for more info).
-HISTORY HD, CI +1 and CI HD may also launch soon on Virgin Media.
-Fashion One 'In talks with Virgin Media' - no updates in months.

Own by update:

My list of channels of who own what is out of date.

Premier Media has close Premier Sports Extra down and sold it EPG Channel number to an other broadcaster.

Info will be fixed by July 2nd.

The EPG data for the Red Button channels is wrong, it says athletics is on RB1 and RBHD, however it is Antiques Roadshow and the HD Trailer instead,

Also the antiques roadshow thing is like a quiz with Red,Green,Yellow and Blue commands, but they don't work on tivo, making it rather pointless

Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: Virgin Media should launch TWO new channels on Tuesday.

I can now reveal that Food Network and Travel Channel should launch on Tuesday on Virgin Media:

Channels to launch:
-Food Network to launch on Virgin Channel 287.
-Travel Channel to launch on Virgin Channel 288.

The Food Network should be interesting as l saw some of the programmes on Freeview and l was quite impressed.

Do you have any idea what package those channels will be on MB please? Aunt has M+ and watches Food Network on Freeview (think it is that channel anyway, if not one similarly named) so will be pleased if it is on M+.

With Food network being on Freeview i have a feeling that it might be in the M package on VM.
Travel will prob be in M+
