Sky Sports forum! what you on about? Sky Sports is part of a package that Virgin offers, so it's up for discussion. As highlighted, what makes you think that?

BT Sport now also charge £3 for HD (VM platform being the exception).

Hasn't this arrangement been the same since the launch of the channel? AFAIK, even those entitled to free BT Sport had to pay £3 extra for the free HD feed. Perhaps very early customers haf free HD for a limited time

Are VM that worried about what 47 people on an internet forum know?

I'm sure that if all 47 of us say we want the prices dropped they wouldnt do it. So why would they care if 47 people knew information about new channel launches? I just dont see the logic of DNPs....but ok, that's just me.....

"If you have nothing better to say, don't say anything at all!!"

I don't believe it to be appropriate to be rude to MB who collates and publishes information in his own time, without remuneration, but simply for the benefit of others.

A Do Not Post order is just that, if MB ignored these gentlemens agreements, his information would soon dry up. All that he is doing is conveying the most information that he can, without breaking the DNP order.

These issues have been addressed in the past on more than one occasion.

That was what I meant , BT Sport had an introductory offer with free HD for a year , all those who took this offer up now have to pay £3 for BT Sport in HD whether via BT TV or the Sky platform although the £3 does include other HD channels on BT TV if you also have a subscription to the Extra multicast channels.

Whether they launch tomorrow or in 6 weeks time, us, as the customer can have no control over it.

Sky and VM will both know the exact date and I'm sure more people than those on here will know too.
Having a date they will launch will also stop loads of questions being thrown towards MB too :-)

A DNP might also be required to protect the source.

About 20% of VM subscribers subscribe to Sky Sports. About 66% of Sky customers subscribe to Sky Sports. So the poster azbazlol is probably correct to say that most people on this forum don't have Sky Sports.

Knowing that the channels should launch w/c 14th July should suffice for most people.
