Forpadydeplasterer, winner of the 2009 Arkle Trophy at the Cheltenham Festival, has been retired.

Trainer Tom Cooper called time on the popular 11-year-old's career after he largely struggled to show his best form during the past few seasons. He was last seen finishing down the field in the Munster National at Limerick on October 13.
