yes Fergie has never lost a domestic semi final in England and this looks like being the first one. Chelsea are too strong they have a first 11 of top players and a second eleven of top players.. our resolves are Bellion, Eagles, Phil Nev etc and aren't good enough

Play the best side available then...

At Forest we don't really have a squad. Alex Ferguson should be thankful he does.

all the agents are really interested in is just getting a bigger cut of any money the player can make.. Same with Carroll at Man U who's agent has told him he can get a better deal even if it means he goes to a smaller club and might not even play as many games..

I saw that on SSN last night, Jordan had a right go about how they looked after Routledge and his mother over the last years. He was furious!

I agree about agents the majority just want to get the most money they can but getting players unsettled so that they move.

Why would you sign for Chelsea when you will be behind Cudichini and Chec? Is it just a money thing? Petr Chec is only 22/23 so its not like the position will become free in a few years. I'd rather play in the Championship for less wages that sit on Chelsea reserves for more.

Unless Chelsea are planning to sell Cudichini. Fergie, if you do decide to sign any keeper this season make sure its Cudichini!!!

Actually, as a die-hard Villa, fan, I'd have to disagree with that - Man U and Arsenal are probably the most widely supported teams in England (particularly Man U - I know all of the jokes about all of the supporters living in Surrey etc, but it's not too wide of the mark). As a result of their successes, rightly or wrongly, they are very well supported - it'd be interesting to do a poll of who on here supports which team, as I think it'd show that the national support of these two would probably be reflected here.

Bloody glory hunters :mad: same with all the Liverpool supporters there were when i was growing up :2up: fcuks me off :dozey:

Well, I know that somebody will correct me if I'm wrong (;)), but I think a poll can have up to 20 options so, working on that principle, it'd be a case of starting with the Premiership teams (and yes, I am aware that there's a large amount of non-Premiership fans here as well :p: )

To make it completely fair, all 92 league teams would have to be included - dunno if it would be worth starting a thread so people could say who their team is or not (might be a little tricky to keep up with), but I'll have a think about it. What does anybody else reckon?

Not all supports are glory hunters. But I admit some are, same with Arsenal now, I work with a guy who never used to be interesed in football, but he got interested in it last season. Guess who he supports.

well if you could have 20 in a poll, you'd pick the top 19 Prem teams and a further option for "other- please state" and then any team could be included.
