But then it's the choice of the artist I suppose.:)

Hmmm, rummaging through women's handbags...

Artist Charlotte Newson, who led the project, said: "You are able to listen to the women's stories through headphones as you rifle through their handbags.

"Handbags are very personal things and the items in a woman's handbag reflect her life.

Worth going to see if you're not too far away:

The first major UK exhibition of sculpture by Catalan artist Joan Miro, who, during his career produced around 400 sculptures and a similar number of ceramics, is on display at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield.

This looks good if you live in the area:

Ladies of leisure like Jo ;) should be able to make it, but it's only open 10:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday. I may be able to get down one Friday afternoon. :)

If these are real, then this is some talent.

Doesn't really appeal Cobby. It all looks like a poor attempt to cross the styles of Barbara Hepworth with Salvidor Dali. Though I should be going over the hills to Halifax in the next few weeks so I may just call in at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park if my business meeting ends earlier than expected.

The post you quoted was about an exhibition to mark 30 years of The Smiths, the Joan Miro exhibition was the one above... ;) :p:

Ooooops. You know, of course, that I was referring to your link http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-17364748

I really must stop posting when i have just taken my meds as they really do mess with my ability to concentrate on what I am doing. I think I had better just go back to the Birthday Threads whilst I am a tad discombobulated.
