I took it to be a spiteful whisper muttered under his breath as he left the forum....

You asked (& I quote)

why people are bringing up the incident again
I put it to you that if Mark had not mentioned the matter (without prompting I may add) then further questions would not have been asked. As it is he chose of his own volition to raise the issue although it may have been preferential if questions had been asked via PM as per his original post.

Russ 27-06-2003 12:24

And I put it right back at you that:

a) You haven't answered me but hey, no reply needed I suppose...

and

b) from Bill Payer's reply (which as you say, could have been asked in PM) he was inviting an open discussion on the matter.

and

c) Fraz - you know what happened, I know what happened, the majority know what happened, so let's just drop it eh?

Other than for reasons of antagonism, I cannot see why people are bringing up the incident again

(a) I did answer you see (b)

(b) I stand by my original reply without any embellishments

(c) Yes I'm quite aware of the background

(d) For some reason you appear to have taken umbrage at the fact that Mark D openly brought the subject up and then appeared to imply that it was other posters that had brough the issue up in order to distract from this despite Mark D's own protestations.

Whoever you consider brought up the subject, would you not agree that it would be better if the subject is now dropped?

no, I've paid for a 15 minute discussion and I intend to get it :D

So why did you take umbrage ;)

Russ 27-06-2003 13:36

Ask me in PM and we'll discuss.

I'd say it's open to interpretation, however do you feel better now you've got it out of your system?
