What's the name of the channel? I don't click on anything that could potentially give those bell ends revenues.
If it's Notts TV see post 205

It is Notts TV, they decided not to renew their licence which runs out later this year.

Not just Virgin, of course.

Eurosport’s final hours on air will be available on Sky satellite channel 417 (Eurosport 1) and Sky satellite channel 421 (Eurosport 2). Both channels will be delisted from Sky’s Electronic Programme Guide on Friday 28th February.

Obviously not, as it's closing completely.

I don't have Sky, so can only see when it closes on Virgin (which is relevant for this thread).

Guess they will use TNT Sports 5-10 red button channels more

I suspect they will make it available on all Max tiers, they did in Europe last year, likely doing that with Winter Olympics

Wouldn't surprise me if WBD sold 1 or both slots to Premier Sports

It is indeed. I used to love watching some of the more obscure stuff they used to show like the Rachau hill climb events that used to be on every Christmas in the late 90's.

We lost Eurosport for a while back in 1991.

Yes - for 12days when Sky sold their share in Eurosport to TF1 (When Sky did merge with BSB to BSkyB).

Only two channels was save on the BSkyB launch day on Astra 1B on April 15th 1991 from BSB.

The Sport Channel > Sky Sports > Sky Sports 1 > Sky Sports Main Event.
The Movie Channel > Sky Movies Max > Sky Cinema (Channel 402).

Then in 1993 Eurosport did merge with ScreenSport and relaunch as Eurosport.

What happen to other BSB Channels on Marcopolo after merger?

Galaxy did close on December 2nd 1990 and Marcopolo transponder handed over to Sky One

Now did close on December 1st 1990 and Marcopolo transponder was shared with two channel Sky News & Sky Arts (Sky Arts did broadcast at weekends due to BSB having some arts rights)

The Power Station (BSB's Music channel) did close on April 8th 1991 with Marcopolo transponder handed over to Sky Movies+.

Here an good video on what did happen in Sky HQ in 1990/1991 when their was working on what to do with BSB: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAB6sfYOi20
