Pile of pants, another thing to log into. No need for a free service except more data gathering..

So the UHD add on costs should be (on top of HD):

Sky Cinema & Entertainment UHD - £6
Sky Sports UHD - £7
Sky Cinema & Entertainment and Sports UHD - £10

Ultimate Volt with UHD included the Sky Cinema & Entertainment UHD add on in the bundle cost, which is why it should be a £4 difference for those bundles as you won't have more than one UHD add on at the same time.

So it's £4 for those who have Sky Cinema and Entertainment UHD already in their bundle?

I think that was yesterday (31 Jan) it stopped - I was told a pop-up message had appeared for some.

My Sky Sports UHD has now appeared so it is up and running - it is HLG.

You need to look carefully at you new contract as originally they removed Cinema UHD when adding Sports UHD - but all seems good - currently.

Not on mine, I subscribed at 9am this morning and the Indian advisor told me that he had activated it. I checked my account and it hasn't updated to show the Sky Sports UHD services. I think I smell BS from the advisor.

I will give it a few more hours and I will be going on chat if it's still not come on.

If you have already have Sky Sports HD and Sky Cinema HD, then yes. That's true for Ultimate Volt with UHD

If you have Sky Sports SD with Sky Cinema HD, then it would be £11 (£7 for Sky Sports HD add on + £4 difference for the Sky UHD change)

I have it working, its hdr! watching the cricket in hlg

plus they wouldn't budge on £7 even though I have uhd movies, but i can worry about that later :)

"Thanks for your patience. I did try manually and still the cost is 7pounds the UHD channels are free with your Ultimate Volt package and not charging you so we will not be able to remove that and add UHD with sports and cinema that is the reason its 7pounds."

Atmos, HDR, great picture, not too bad price,recordable....

I'm stunned

Was passed to three different people who all denied this despite me linking them to this post. After 5 hours on WhatsApp had someone offer me an 18 month contract for only £2.37 a month more so I took it. Promised channels within the hour but haven't appeared so an watching the game in HD

Won’t the price rise in May?

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2023)

I was told by CS that anybody taking out a new contract now will not have this price rise applied.

It's activated for me now. I suppose the next question is when will the other two channels launch and what sports will they be showing?
