MB why do you feel you have to respect your DNP orders?
The sources who give you the information obviously do not respect VM's own DNP orders. Your sources shouldn't be telling anyone!!

You show loyalty to people who disrespect VM by leaking such valuable information to random people like yourself...Do you really think they would be so loyal back to you??

I'm just saying beware of those you trust...specially when they are disloyal and betray who they work for.

Again i've said it before and i will say it again i'm sure MB is exactly the same too, dnp orders are given to us in confidence, by revealing them before we are given the nod it breaches our sources trust and i'm sure future sources wouldn't trust us either, not only that but there would be a high risk of the sources/s getting disciplined too by whoever they work for.
Have some patience all will be revealed in time.
I can understand your frustration but remember good things come to those who wait :)

I can't deny I was love to know prices to see if new TiVo is in my budget or not, but the people providing the info to MB could be identified if it was leaked to soon, as much as I'd like to know, not at the loss of some peoples jobs

I'm not frustrated, just don't understand why you trust your sources when they have betrayed VM's confidence... They shouldn't be leaking the information anyway. The same information was given to them in confidence

Would you trust your Mrs if she betrayed you??
The whole trust issue just doesn't wash

Like I said, ignore me. I don't want to cause an argument, just some friendly questions/issues I had...I won't go on anymore and I'll wait patiently for some good news and share some if I see any xx

You don't seem to make any sense. They are leaking info but to a few trusted people, I'm sure they not the only ones, and the info they have given to MB in the past has been of great help stop moaning

I'm not moaning...there is more to life than what's happening with our tv situation..

Leaking any information is wrong...you know this right?

All I'm saying is be careful of the sources. If they are willing to go behind their employer's backs and dish out information, can they really be trustworthy people? They think they have all of the power...when really it is MB and theone who holds it :-)

I won't go on anymore...I'll sit back and enjoy the news when we get any xx

N.B Sorry for any offence caused, guys...keep up the good work

Ok morally it is wrong to leak information but I think this happens because with virgin they tell customers nothing that is happening apart from price rises. When we have changes if the sources didn't tell us we would never know it has happened

Sorry for being petty, I didn't mean to cause an argument.

I agree, VM should tell us more...not tell us a few months after the new services/changes have arrived :-)
That is more frustrating than having DNP orders in place lol

Hey there is no argument we are chatting about it no worries. I remember recently virgin lifted streaming restrictions but not for them, new channels they don't tell us and I bet they will be last with TiVo info, recently they told us nothing it's wrong

Now, if only they could get their facts right:

Quote:

Virgin’s existing TiVo media box on the other hand offers just three tuners and its specs are definitely on the old fashioned side now, with only 720p HD support and limited content streaming capacity
The current Tivo can do 1080p from Netflix and 1080i HD TV channels

BT Sport Freeview on Virgin UK Channel 548 is now called BT Sport Showcase.

---------- Post added at 14:14 ---------- Previous post was at 14:10 ----------

As of last night the price list of the new TiVo is still an DNP order.

We got an PM last night saying do not post.

I do start to understand the risks and it's good telling us even this, can your sources give us a date for pricing information
