Listing I have seen show that BT Sport Europe HD will show 5 live games from Germany over the weekend of August 1st to August 3rd.

With the first one being broadcast on August 1st with an Kick off time of 12noon.

Saturday 1st August:
-VFL Bochum VS MSV Duisburg - Bundesliga 2 - KO: 12pm
-Wolfsburg VS Bayern Munich - German Super Cup - KO: 7:30pm

Sunday 2nd August:
-Fortuna Dusseldorf VS Paderborn - Bundesliga 2 - KO: 12:30pm
-Karlsruher VS St Pauli - Bundesliga 2 - KO: 2:30pm

Monday 3rd August:
-Red Bull Leipzig VS Greuther Furth - Bundesliga 2 - KO: 7:15pm

AH! well this is good news! There wasnt a lot of bundesliga 2 games on last year which was saddening. Probably due to lack of channels for bt to show it on. maybe bt sport europe will fix this

Look like BT Sport are moving all football base in Europe onto BT Sport Europe.

So far I have seen the following Leagues being shown on BT Sport Europe:

Germany:
Bundesliga
Bundesliga 2
German Super Cup
DFB Pokal Cup

France:
Ligue 1

Also being shown:
UEFA Champions League
UEFA Europa League
UEFA Super Cup
Swiss Super League (Some of them being shown on other BT Sport Channels)

All English Football league games look set to move to Sky Sports 5 HD*.

*The Saturday afternoon English Football league game (around 12pm) is listed as being on both Sky Sports 1 HD and Sky Sports 5 HD.

Was wondering about this, the European football show and Serie a especially, obviously when there is overspill, Sunday nights for example, they have an extra channel to utilise

They usually have too much football on a sunday. italian, german, german division 2, french football. putting it all on bt sport europe would mean even less football being shown as they couldnt cover bundesliga 2 in the past due to bt sport 1 and 2 being filled up with italian and french football at 7pm onwards. i hope some european football will still stay on the normal bt channels! good little league bundesliga 2.

are we getting bt sport showcase media boy? what will be on there

As of today no new channels are testing on Virgin.

On this day in 1993 both Discovery Channel and Bravo launch on Astra 1C in the UK and Ireland.

Base on info from our Virgin Sources - Yes.

But we have still to see any of the following:

-BT Sport Europe testing or it channel number.
-BT Sport Europe HD testing or it channel number.
-BT Showcase testing or it channel number.

Thanks pal. i wonder what theyll put on bt showcase? its going to be on freeview isnt it?? So will the channel only come on during champions league games or will they put lesser leagues on like german second division to fill it up? very intriguing

BT Showcase will show:

-14 UEFA Champions League
-12 UEFA Europa League

And also some other yet to be confirm rights.

Base on it Freeview broadcasting hours it will broadcast from 12noon to midinight.

As part of BT's UEFA deal they need to broadcast some UEFA games to everyone.

Premier Sports on channel 551, is this a limited special offer, free for XL or part of the BT package?.

Just rec'd notice of Sept price rise and no mention of this channel.

Latest info we have is that Premier Sports is only on the XL Package until August 10th.
