Why are they biased (what a daft question?) All channels are biased I'm one way or another? I just hate and deplore anything that has the NI stamp of approval. This is just my opinion and it has been made stronger now than in 1989, that is why I have now cancelled SKY Sport and Movies with immediate effect.

Look for the Sunday Sun to go nationwide.

NotW is being sacrificed on the altar of News International completing the take over of BSkyB.

Yes l agree in that Murdoch l suspect has a plan B and as you say l would not be surprised if a Sunday Sun launches after this has died down.

Apparently the staff at The Sun have been told to prepare for a 7 day run. The Sun will be the same from Monday to Sunday.

I often wonder how different the country would be if there were no tabloids, or the most popular papers, were ones like the Guardian or the times. :P

Sky sources indicate that there is MASS anger aimed at Rebekah Brooks in the NoTW newsroom at the moment.

You do realise the The Times is owned by News corp?

Not that different, circulation has been falling year on year for ages, people don't buy them for news anymore but for sport and celebrity tittle tattle, the days of them setting the political agenda are gone, I just hope that the phone hacking scandal isn't just forgotten now that the paper is shutting which is obviously what Rupert and his pals are hoping.

I agree , Lord Prescott has just said it's the staff (the Indians) not the Board (Chiefs) his words not mine that have paid the price.

Hehe whoops.

What was the other one? The Independant?

I agree with "Lord" Prescott.

John Prescott, former deputy prime minister

"It's a typical management stunt from Mr Murdoch," he told BBC News
"What he does is he gets rid of problems and in this case nobody in senior management ... none of those go but the poor old workers at the News of the World are going and there's no doubt it will become the Sunday Sun.
