Netflix is available on your Tivo, so you can't say that VM do not carry this service.

Why not consider changing your package and subscribing to Netflix? Might be a good decision!

You probably could, actually. According to your resume, you have the full monty with VM. You could review this package and save money. For example, you could subscribe to Now TV and choose their film and entertainment passes, and scale down from your XL pack with Virgin. The movie pass alone is half the price of Sky Cinema on VM!

It would require an additional outlay for a Now TV box or streaming stick, but this is only a small cost - you could ask for a Now TV box or stick for Christmas!

I think you should look into the options available to you - maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Or even better a windows tv box slightly more expensive but worth it as you'd get every streaming service there is aswell as things like skygo (if you have sky or know someone willing to let you use there's).

I watched a season of Longmire, but it is a bit slow and plodding. They are not such bad story lines but modern dramas make this seem dated to me.

To both points, yes I know.

The drama is by no means old but the presentation is very old fashioned.

Honestly, I'm not knocking it because this will definitely appeal to some tastes, just not mine. Time dragged a bit for me while watching this.

The Verge article is written from a US perspective so it's likely they are talking about the US Prime, plus it's already on Netflix in the UK and shows don't tend to go on both services at the same time.

Another American Drama people should check out is The CW's Brand New Drama Riverdale based on the archie comics but the show will have a Wayward Pines/Twin Peaks feel to it and its Produced by Greg Berlanti who is known for making hits shows such as Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC's Legends of Tomorrow. The CW Have already released a 30 second teaser online. Riverdale will air on The CW in America in January 2017 but there is no news on a UK Pick Up just yet but i think either Sky 1, E4, ITV2, 5star or Netflix UK & Ireland could swoop this up.

This is one thing the youview box is very good at picking up a series if it's on another channel, for example i used to record friday night feast but it clashed with others at the times it was on ch4 and4+1 youview used to automatically set it to record on 47.

Most posts are not gossip, none of mine certainly. I always post confirmed facts and links to back it up.

Tbf stephen is just neatening up the posts making them easier to read and adding relevant links from the articles you copy and paste here.
