Still hope an act of god that Netflix will be free of XL pack I know I'm a fool for thinking it.

This is going to be a bit long winded but here goes.....

I would not say it is that foolish, our prices went up a lot last year. I think VM had lined up lots of the new channel deals LG have pushed through and probably did the same with Netflix.

If you think about it, it would have been easier for VM to sell the company by saying "we have lined up all these deals and have got the money already in place for you guys to finish the deals, get a good reception from customers and take the business forward." I doubt they would have said to potential buyers "we have no deals lined up, and have annoyed lots of customers by putting up prices for reason - good luck with that"

As such some of the increases from last year may very well have been allocated for Netflix to be included free on XL.:)

I could just be talking complete rubbish though!!:(

As an XL customer I'd like to think Netflix might be included in my bundle for free but I'm not sure it will. If, as some on this thread think, LoveFilm comes to VM will that also be free? What about if we get another streaming service? I'm beginning to think that the best I can hope for is some kind of discount pricing. But then again, VM surprised us all with BT Sport, so you never know...

Am confused by some of these posts. Netflix is on Croydon VM and it is one month free and then 5.99 a month unless you cancel.

Certainly not included in XL.

That's because the national rollout hasn't happened, the pricing structure will be announced when all areas have access.
