Please tell me i'm not the only one who is fed up of all TiVo related news and nothing about new channels. Very annoying, some new HD channels would be appreciated!

yes - my daughter has a 42" plasma and I notice a big difference from my 37" LCD set.

Not sure mate the CEO would know that. E4 HD isn't exclusive.

Well its two weeks to the start of the new financial year, we can only hope that we get some new HD channels announced around that time , just like last year.

I do wonder wheather the take up of the V+ box, which I believe was initilly a low percentage, is because of PVR functionality or HD?

I want HD, but I know a lot of people who couldn't care less about HD.

Then there are those people, who think because they have n HD TV, they aready have HD; there's a lot of those around! :)

I got my V+ a couple of years ago for PVR functionality especially as there was only a part time BBC HD channel back then. I personally think it is a PVR first and a HD receiver second. As much as I like HD, the PVR function is more important to me.

For what it's worth, I think VM have called it a HD activation charge to stop people ringing up complaining that Mr. X next door pays the same monthly XLTV fee as me but gets more channels so I want a price reduction
