There are no "Download Problems" that i saw, its just the fact that they now stagger the upgrades instead of just sending it out for a free for all.

I've been lucky - it downloaded in the background, let me know it was ready to update, and did so without any issues.

It also updated
KB4580419 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10, version 2004, Windows Server, version 2004, Windows 10, version 20H2, and Windows Server, version 20H2

I updated my ASUS Laptop to Windows 11 last night. All went smoothly, but very slowly. I counted 4 reboots. (Just under 2 hours)

Windows 11 cannot be installed on most systems with processors over 4 years old. Don't worry. In my view, apart from better functionality and a nice appearance Windows 11 isn't going to add much to your set up.

it will be adding more features over time. I await the natively running android apps so not more bloat filled emulators

IIRC Older systems may be able to have Win 11 installed. As long as they have a TPM module socket on the motherboard and you install a TPM module on it. Newer processors have TPM functionality built into them.
