I didn't have a think broadband ping monitor, but I think this shows that the Gillingham area seems to be fine (100mbit)

Has the 8 - 10 hump returned generally or just to my neck of the woods?

I wasn't even at home this day and there are several others pretty much the same.

Yeah, all those damn virgins.

P.S. I wonder if Sky's MER incorporates some kind of ack/feedback mechanism, as you have a higher maximum ping but lower packet loss than I do.

Bearing in mind thats while 3 computers are downloading 'all the internets'

There are also other factors. If you look at 8pm, before we started hammering it, the jitter is pretty much flat, but before that I had to do some tidying up, then messing about trying to get the E4200 online, and ended up unplugging it about 3 or 4 times, and with DLM active I may have interleaving enabled, cant really tell at the moment. More will be known when I hack the OR modem and connect my lovely E4200 ;)

Sounds like quite moderately localised then. I was on 22 but I'm on NRTE25 now.

It's more a consistent thing among all Sky routers, with the fluff being worse at off peak periods (e.g. 4am-12pm on your graph)
