It should have been Liverpool 0, Chelsea 1, there second goal was well offside.

The trouble is if Berbatov was signed as a man to get you goals then someone must have seen something different. The stats show that he has never been a prolific scorer in the premiership. I understand what your saying about him missing crucial chances that could have given you 3 points, but wasn`t that why Michael Owen was signed?.............Oh wait :erm:

Finding a player who regularly changes the course of a game is tough, look at Liverpool without Gerrard or Torres, Arsenal without Fabregas or Van Persie, Man U without Rooney or Vidic and Chelsea without Drogba or Lampard.

Personally i think it`s the bulgarian mentality because Petrov is pretty much of the same mould, whereas players from Croatia/Serbia, etc, seem to be able to concentrate that bit more!

Wonder how much you`ll you`ll get for him

p.s. He`s just ballooned another one at the end of the first half.........the look on Rooneys face was classic :)

Well it was apart from Mascherano stood watching at the other side of the area.

However it should have been Man Utd 1, Chelski 1, his goal then was miles offside.:(

Does Gerrard get any FF points for that assist.

If you're being petty, then it should have been Man Utd 0 Chelsea 1, don't forget the blatant handling of the ball into the goal for the Utd 'goal'. Man Utd supporters always seem to have memory failure when it comes to their own teams shortcomings.

I'm just going to put this stat out there, it isn't me defending Berbatov but he's scored more league goals this season than Anelka and Bendtner, the other sides in the top 3 "second strikers".

This is why Tottenham got rid of Berbs, it was total crap, and the worst thing is, Berbs nose has been knocked out of joint, as it doesn't get regular football, he is always on the bench for Utd.

Fergie will sell him during the summer, I will give him the air ticket, Utd deserve better than him.

Looks like Citeh's lawyers could be busy, they'll have to sue Steve Bruce as well.

http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m.../ai_n38060616/

Quote:

He said: 'Manchester City's behaviour was disgusting. They had no intention of signing Palacios. They used the boy and this club as a weapon in a deal to get Craig Bellamy.

'If City had not come in before we played them he would have signed for us. He was wobbling about Spurs. But City never had any intention of signing Palacios and it unsettled him.

'The call came in, chief executive to chief executive, and it cost us the player. He wasn't sure about going to London, he was on the verge of signing and we had even drawn up the papers.

'But when City came in it was a different ball game. They were throwing telephone figures about.

We were told they would speak to us after our game but they had no intention of doing it.

'I think it was done between the clubs. I think it was agreed for Tottenham to pull out of the Bellamy deal and leave City with a clear run for him and Spurs would take Wilson. When I see their chief executive criticising AC Milan about Kaka I think he's got a cheek after what he did here.'
And whilst Citeh are questioning people's integrity...

Then:

Quote:

A club statement said: "Whilst Manchester City FC has the utmost respect for Steve Bruce and his views, the club wishes to make it absolutely clear that the only inquiry made in relation to Wilson Palacios was by a private phone call to [Wigan chief executive] Brenda Spencer.
Now:

Quote:

City say Wigan approached them offering Palacios, while Spurs were in mid-negotiation for him, and that they briefly considered, but swiftly rejected any move for him.
So which is it Mr Cook?

You can buy hundreds of millions of pounds worth of players but you can't buy class. Something City evidently do not have.

Something Wenger also lacks when his team lose.

Yup. Don't really care about that though. Doesn't like losing and handles it badly. I don't handle it well either :)
