Be careful looking for the special offers. The other day, we ran out of washing liquid (for clothes). They had a special offer on the small bottles (buy one, get so much off of the second), but when I worked it out, by taking advantage of the offer, I'd have paid more than I did for the large bottle, for less liquid.

It's worth pointing out that Sainsbury's are far from the only company that does this.

I agree just because its on offer it is not always the cheapest option. Asda ( & Walmart) are well known ( it my Family) for running daft offers.
