@ den and dilli. Thanks guys. The one constant I have come to cherish is the support I get from the people I have come to know through this community.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
I honestly wonder if the people cancelling these ops/clinics think about the hardship patients go through. In some cases, they have a phobia and get built up to having it done for it to be cancelled. Good luck dilli and Jo. And dilli, if I could I'd take a night in hospital to perv over, er sorry be looked after by, the female nurses.

This really gets my goat. Parents who expect companies to do their job of parenting.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Cheers :tu: - I'm ok just get tired too easily these days then I tend to let it all ge to me.
With luck a few days in hospital will not only make me feel better but also give Natalie a rest and THAT'S whats important tto me not me. Quote:

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Commiserations on all the hospital issues Dilli and Jo - and anyone else for that matter!
Yesterday I got my new appointment for surgery in a month's time, just when we're supposed to be away for an educational assessment for Osem Jnr #2. I'd feel less anxious about trying the change the assessment (if that's even possible at this stage) if there was any guarantee I won't be getting another last minute call cancelling my op! Grrr... |
Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Osem could you not ring your surgeon possible secretary and explain see if your surgery could be deferred say by a week.
Depending on waiting time see if you can get a cancellation appointment. |

My pre-assessment was done mid August and its 3 month duration runs out mid November so putting the date back even further runs the risk that I'll need to have all that done again too... :spin: |
Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
l hope things get sorted out for you Osem.
My moan today is l have a terrible night as l have had a upset stomach since early yesterday so have found it pretty hard to eat anything apart from a couple of biscuits which l had to take before l took my medication each time. |
Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Oh no den. Hope it clears up for you. A trivial moan today, but I was sorting out one of the food cupboards and dropped a tin of sweetcorn on my foot. Luckily I was wearing slippers but I still swore. Now hobbling around in pain, after having ice on it for half hour.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Yes thank god you were wearing your slippers as without them you might have had a broken toe Mark but thankfully one suspects you will have a big bruise a little later.
|
Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
You could try putting a corn plaster on it ;)

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Looks like I'm in until at least the weekend, but at least it should be sorted properly before I get out.
Some of the other patiends are /interesting/ to say the least - I just do not know how the nurses cope with the attitude of some of the patients I really know. |
Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
That sucks dilli. And yes some of the patients could do with being thrown out of the hospital for their attitude.
