Had rafa not got too carried away with previous results (being 7 points clear of United at the time although they did have 2 games in hand) by the time you hit February you were two points behind united and they still had a game in hand , so in less than a month it was game over for Liverpool.

Bulkylad, do I need to insult intelligence?

Do you know what " PRE " AND " PRO " Means ?

Dont bother replying

Heard some good news this morning, Owen Hargreaves, almost forgot he was still around, has cost united £1.9 million per game.

I guess when a team wins nothing yet again all that's left to look forward to is others' misfortune :spin:

Your not getting my point , do You lack intelligence ??? , just because the stats show little difference pre and post rant does not mean it didn't have an effect. What i am suggesting to you is that just before Rafa opened his big fat spanish waiter mouth Liverpool were flying (and he knew it) , he tried to get a reaction from Fergie to no avail instead putting pressure on his team due to media pressure , he blew the papers into overdrive and with the next result being a draw at Stoke (lol) it put more and more pressure on Liverpool to perform because the manager had just made a complete idiot of himself.
ahh yes Owen Hargreaves , isn't he the one that is currently more successful domestically than any of the Liverpool team (lets not bring it down to FA cups now :dozey: ):D

Working on a 19 million transfer fee, 1 million quid a game. However, if you look at the other way, he also cost them 3.8 million quid a goal... For a striker...

;)

Liverpool have sold him for exactly the same cash as they bought him for if you take the add on's into account so I'd say it's very different. If only you could get anything like a similar deal for Berbatov....

I think someone needs to check their maths on the Hargreaves stat. According to wikipedia he's played 37 matches for us and cost £17million. I don't know how that equals £1.9million a game?

Hopefully he will be back next season with the problems with his knees gone for good, although i did hear he had a setback and won't be back until the new year.
