Hmmmm, a Japanese–American anime series, I think I'll give that a miss.

Finally. They've been talking about it for years now.

that's fantastic. It was great in its day like BSG but is one of those series which could be brilliant if remade with todays technology. I just hope they treat it with the respect it deserves and it doesn't turn out like The 4400.

VFX technology shouldn’t make any meaningful difference to Quantum Leap. It was never effects heavy (the only one being the leap in/out at either end of each show). What would ruin it would be to turn it into a heavily CGI’d production just because they can.

The sci fi concept was just the means of getting the story to where it needed to be, which was to ask questions about how our lives are a combination of our choices, other people’s choices and accidents and whether there’s an over-arching force or intelligence also at play. It was pop philosophy with a bit of throwaway theology also in the mix in later episodes.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will air directly after Picard finishes (starting May 5th 2022).

The Boys Season 3 is set to air from June 3rd 2022.

Marvel dropped the trailer for Moon Knight yesterday, and today the family of its star, Gaspard Ulliel, announced that he has died in a skiing accident. :(

Talk about bad luck. I wonder how far through filming they got and if they pretty much finished season 1 they'll do a Batwoman which will be shit or more preferrerably as it hasn't even aired yet, scrap the whole lot and start again.

It drops in March so I’d imagine it wrapped months ago, even allowing for pickups. They may well have pencilled in an extended role for the character in the MCU but I’d say it’s unlikely they’ve done anything they can’t change.

If they’re not re-casting for Chadwick Boseman, despite the obvious difficulties for the continuing story arc, they’re very unlikely to re-cast for Ulliel. Remember, this is Marvel, not DC. ;)

Seems something I expected to be CGI is not.
