No because Newcastle weren't any points in front IIRC, they had already blown it, if anything made them feel preasure it was the fact United were winning games, booger all to do with any mind games.

I actually agree, i think the whole 'mind games' thing is a load of rubbish, for me they just add a bit a fun to press conferences, watching managers try and get one over Ferguson and in Keegans case falling flat on his face.

I can't think who'd pay £30m on him except Citeh. I doubt Man Yoo would want to lose face by being seen to be taking a quick loss on him. Maybe go to the Germany where the play is slower or perhaps Spain. Ita funny though everyone said he was lazy due to Spurs' laxidaisical management style and that a "proper" manager like Fergie would sort him out. Clearly didn't. He's probably not the only ego that will be coming down a notch or two.

We took him because he was the only real prospect with time running out. Turns out there wasn't such a hurry after all. Totally ineffective. There's no way we'll recoup the money so a loss is going to be the only way and I can see a drop of 50% on his price. I have a feeling SAF may give Donkey Dimitar until Christmas, if he fails to remind anyone he's on the pitch then I expect him to be gone in the january window or at least have his replacement ready.

Speaking of which, Karem Benzema is looking interesting.

Give Berbatov another season, before passing judgement, I'd say. Andy Cole struggled in his first full season, let's not forget that.

What did fergy take 6 years to do that Rafa achieved in 1 ?

How many trophies did fergy win in his first nine years compared to paisley?

And finally, how long had united gone before winning the league?

So please dont proclaim fergy as some kind of genius, genius is when you can work wonders with limited funds and limited support.

And sorry to say it, as a born and bred 'pool fan united are and always will be in our shadows.

What a peice of crap yesterdays game was :) I make no excuses we were simply beat. After the first goal chelsea just seemed to have the ball all the time. Was expecting a bit more from the game tbh but it was ok. Hope we can get a full fit squad again soon :)

would like you to quote the results following the rant (right after think there was lots of draws involved :) )thats when it went pear shaped , if you don't see that then fine but it put pressure on the liverpoo team , Rafa Beneathus should have kept his gob shut ;) , forget the past fella , live for the present , Forget the funds , read the amout spent over the past 10 years utd vs lpoo is about 10 million difference , the main difference being lpoo have bought mediocre player rather than world class !! . If Fergy had been your manager you would think him a genius , again if you don't see that then fine, its my opinion.
i see the livpoo vs utd argument all the time in my place of work , unfortunatley apart from Barcelona winning the champions league (amazing how many lpoo fans support Barca ) you have absolutely NOTHING to crow about , you hold on to the 'next year its ours ' you have been doing for so many years i have lost count , amazing how last time you came close you came 4th in a three horse race ,so thanks for your 5 minutes but until your a recent successful club forget it :) .

You talk about Liverpool fans supporting Barcelona, ffs if Liverpool had been beaten in the final the Glory Hunting United Supporters would have been rubbing their prawn sandwich eating hands in Glee, so do not give me that crap!

Just to finish, where does buying your so called class players put your bank balance? ffs Rooney vs Torres? When the debt collectors call in the loans and all uniteds top earners have to be sold to fund the club the real supporters will emerge, not your supporters who decided in 1992 that Football had arrived.
